Jai Lakshman
Twenty-five years of executive leadership and program management for philanthropic and non-profit service organizations worldwide focusing on community development, public health, the environment, youth, education, the arts, and Native Americans.
 
Jai has served as Executive Director for the following organizations:   Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) – Santa Fe Indian Market; Seva Foundation (w/programs in Nepal, India, Mexico, Guatemala and North America); Hanuman Foundation; The New Mexico Water Initiative; and USA for Africa Foundation (NM State Director).  
 
He has also served on Board of Directors for: Seva Foundation (1982-98, Board Chairman 1993-5); Southwest Research & Information Center (1997-present); Concerned Citizens NM (1988-91); Hanuman Foundation (1995-present). Other Organizational & Program Consultancies have included working w/: Medicins Sans Frontiers/Doctors Without Borders; Save the Children; Social Venture Network; Omega Institute; Vecinos de la Floresta and Los Sietes (NM).
 
Jai has produced more than 500 fundraising events including concerts, theater productions, educational seminars, community fairs and business symposiums on behalf of the programs he has worked for. He has lived in New Mexico since 1979 where he is currently working in private business ventures and as a community development consultant.
